Oh my goodness. If you've ever thought you might like to read a book about living in France and/or learning to cook, you should definitely read My Life in France. It's written in the voice of Julia Child by her grand-nephew Alex Prud'homme.
So delightful.
Now I am back in Boston.

I loved that book! I read it as an antidote to Julie & Julia (which I did not love, as I took a deep dislike to Julie) and it was marvelous.
Also, welcome home!
