Drear

le sigh...from thefreedictionary.com
Adj.1.drear - causing dejection; "a blue day"; "the dark days of the war"; "a week of rainy depressing weather"; "a disconsolate winter landscape"; "the first dismal dispiriting days of November"; "a dark gloomy day"; "grim rainy weather"

It's funny that yesterday out of the blue I posted about moving in with the Man and last night we were talking about it in that way where he says very little and I cry salty sad girl tears. Why is nothing ever easy? Why can't things that we're shown on tv as children ever happen the way we assume they'll happen? Where everyone agrees and we all work together?
Ugh. It's fine it's just hard. Hard.

Stupid rain.

EDITED TO ADD: And AND! As I stepped from the curb to my car this morning one shoe came off my foot and fell directly into the raging crick* next to the curb. FUCKER! I've got the one-wet-shoe blues.

*Crick is backwoods-speak for creek. You're welcome.

Yeah.

If it helps -- and I find it helps me, so it might -- I think it's more or less like that for everyone. Not always, but sometimes.

This business of being human is tricky.

I know you're right. And, it kind of does help. So thank you.

It's ok to cry your salty girl tears. It means you're human. I prefer human you to robot you and so does the Man.

A cool shoe store near me sells cowboy, multi-colored rainboots. Perhaps I will get them for you and then SUCK IT, RAIN.
