Slow, persistent drip

Um, I'm pretty sure I got some decent sleep last night.

No, I really did. Yeah, for reals.

I'm not sure how it happened. I know that I went to bed at about 10:30 after I got home from rehearsal, washed my face, brushed my teeth, made sure the cats weren't dying of heatstroke...
I got into bed, started Snakes on a Plane, and drifted off to sleep.

At 4:28, I woke up and got up to feed the cats Part One of their breakfast. I call this part, the Shut-the-fuck-up-I'm-trying-to-fucking-sleep bribery feeding. Then I peed, got back in bed, and had really vivid dreams until the alarm went off at 6:05. I hit snooze and continued to sleep. I'm, pretty sure the cats were making noises to get me to wake up, but it just wasn't happening. I heard the alarm again at around 6:14: SNOOOOOOOOOZE! Then at 6:23 I got up.

You guys, that's kind of a record. I'm sort of tired, but when in your adult life do you really not feel tired at all? NEVER: that's when.

So here's the only problem. One of my eyes won't stop tearing up. It's really annoying. Here, I've provided a rendering of what it's been like:
Yes, that's right! There's shrieking eels and fish and an octopus. That's how much tearing is going on. My teariness can sustain aquatic life. And I'm not even sad.

No. There's nothing in my eye.
Yes, I checked. Twice.

Maybe the octopus knows what's going on.
