I feel RAW

I'm on day 3 of a Raw Food Diet. I'm doing it partially as a cleanse, partially just to get myself back on track with the eating. I usually do an ok job of eating right, but then I do a little worse, and then a little worse and then after awhile I'm like that car whose alignment is so bad that when you take your hand off the wheel for one second it's veering into oncoming lanes of traffic and eating bacon-wrapped Cheetos. You followed that simile, yes?

So, as I said: Day 3. I can't eat meat or dairy, or anything that's been cooked over about 100 degrees (so basically nothing cooked). No processed foods are allowed, or drinks* that aren't water or juice or some decaffeinated herbal teas.

The thing about the caffeine: the last two days I've had terrible headaches in the afternoon, and I'm going to pin that on the lack of caffeine. I would love to have some bread with butter, or a big chunk of cheese, but I would kill for a cup of coffee. I WOULD KILL SOMEONE FOR A CUP OF COFFEE RIGHT NOW. KILL THEM TO DEATH. UNTIL THEY DIED FROM ALL THE KILLING.

I didn't know I felt that way until I was typing it, but it's totally true. But hey, I'm eating strawberries, and that's almost like a grandé caramel latté, right? Right?**


*One website said that organic wine is allowed. I don't know if that's true, but I'll take it.

God love you. I couldn't do it.

However, doesn't sashimi count as on the diet? Some delicious raw tuna and seaweed because it's raw and not meat????? DO IT....
