First: The best sandwich ever. Well maybe not EVER in the Whole History of Sandwiches, but it's certainly in the Top Five. This is a turkey-on-pretzel from Mariposa. The turkey is farm-raised happy turkey and the pretzel is delicious. Other sandwich goodies include homemade mayo, tomato, smoked gouda and greens. BSE (Best Sandwich Ever). I have this delightful meal for lunch about once a week. Yummy.
Next: Stuff on my Cat (yes, I stole the idea from the website of the same name)Featured on the cat: my Man's keys and wallet, a container of PlayDoh (orange, I think) and discs 3-4 of The X Files, season 2. No homemade mayo or tomatoes on this guy...
Last: This little yellow number. There are lots of these in yellow and red on a lattice attached to the porch of a neighbor of mine. People in Somerville are frequently very meticulous about maximizing the amount of plants and flowers around their homes. When I moved here I was very afraid that I wouldn't have access to enough "green things", plants, trees, etc. But I have beautiful green things around me almost everywhere I look.Lucky me.
