This yarn used to be a pair of mittens I bought when I first got to Boston. Buuuuut I never wear them because they're terrible at keeping my hands warm. So, I spent some time (mostly during rehearsals, back stage) un-knitting them so that I can use the adorable yarn for something else. I'm not sure what yet.
Another thing I'm going to try to do is knit my man a hat. I've never knit anything more complicated that a scarf, and I only ever knit (no exciting "purl" for me), but I'm going to try to do it before Valentine's Day (just over a week away). The man heads to Tahoe for four days starting this Friday, so I hope to get the bulk of it done this weekend while he's away. Of course it could take longer than that since he's got kind of a big head, but I'll give it my all.
