Weary but happy and did I mention weary?

My arms hurt so much from moving (in with the Man!) that I cannot really lift them without wanting to weep. I moved the rest of my stuff into the apartment and I started to unpack. I had so much help from J and A. I'm lucky they were around to clean and put things away and dance around my new kitchen. The Man and I did some drinking of dirty martinis on Saturday night and not much eating so we ended up having a semi-serious (albeit drunk) conversation about the future and furniture and where to spend Christmases and all that important stuff. There weren't many subjects left uncovered. We made lists and laid some plans. Then he passed out on the couch while I continued to put things away and soothe the confused cats.
There's still so much to figure out, but I'm excited to do that stuff. I'm not sure when I'll have the time.

I'm not sure when I'll have the time because I'm the lucky girl who gets to play Rosalind in As You Like It for my theatre group. Seriously, this will be so fun, but it's a million lines and I have to start memorizing yesterday. When the offer email got to me I had to read it several times to make sure that I was reading it correctly. I always have this feeling that I'll "pull a Zoolander" and accept something I didn't get (like when he embarrassingly accepts the Best Male Model award - awkward!). However, I did get it and I shall do my damnedest to be awesome. If you're looking for me, I'll be holed up in my new place for the next two months, putting away dishes and clothes and papers and memorizing Shakespeare.

Oh, and Die Frau had her baby! Go look at him! Go now!!

Congrats on the part! I'm so very psyched for you, and sad that I can't be in the show. Can't wait to see it.

I am at your service to run lines. I've got the script and I'm happy to meet up or do it over the phone. I have a lot of line-running karma to pay off.
