Clarification, this time for me

So, let me get this straight.

Ahem:

As you get older, your skin starts to go bad. And all of your body's elasticity and flexibility runs away. You're ability to get through a bottle of wine without guaranteeing a hangover flies out the window, along with your ability to digest junk food properly.

Also, you get more emotional, less certain that you're on the right path, and your "charming quirkiness" is just a transition stage before you become the Mayor of Crazytown.

Is this true?

Because, you know, I'm just trying to plan around my limitations...

So if there's anything else, you know, you should tell me about it now. Thanks.

Yeah, the body goes to hell in a handbasket, but the rest is all just a progression until we become crazy old ladies who can say any damn thing they feel like. I'm nearly there already. :)

Well then. At least I'll always have excellent company :)

I don't know, I think I'm less emotional--or at least less vulnerable to my emotions--than I was as a teen, thank goodness! And I'm pretty convinced I'm on the right path, for me. So maybe I just got here first?

Oh, lillibet, that would be great. So, this could really be more of a bell-curve situation.

Yes. Yes I think that must be so!

I would definitely agree with the emotion thing too, actually. I may still get emotional sometimes, but I'm more conscious of why and what I need to do about it, and better at planning my life to avoid meltdowns.
