Too poor for a title

or at least I will be too poor for a title once my IKEA trip with J has happened (and it will happen tonight! HUZZAH!).

So, surely you're dying to see pictures of my new apartment, but without all the sloppiness. Well, um, yeah. Here's the thing: it's still kind of messy. It seems you can only fit so many things into a teeny tiny place and even if everything technically fits it will still look cluttered as hell.

I'm trying. I will be buying some more compact items at IKEA and replacing some of the giant things I have now. I am thanking my lucky stars that I have space in the basement.

Here's the living "room". It's more of a living corner, but whatevs. The light is nice and the couches comfortable. And here is my bedROOM. It's a needlessly large space compared to the itty bitty kitchen-living "room", but if ever I feel claustrophobic, here's where I'll go. I had a picture of the window with all my plants in it, but my email ate it :(. Do you like how I made sure that a bra was in the picture? You know, so the space would look lived in. I'm nothing if not classy.
That black chair to the left of the bed is something I picked out of the trash, cleaned, sanded, and painted black because I am chic and chic people make chic black furniture from trash. Do they? Probably not, no...
Anyway... Yes, I will take more pictures of the place once it is overrun with (even more) IKEA stuff. Then there will be not an inch of visible wall space and my job will be complete! WEEEEEE!
