How I am like a dog:

I've been trying to cut down on snacking because I was really good for a little while there when I was raw and then vegan, and now I still eat far less meet and dairy and processed stuff, but I'm back on regular food. For breakfast I'll have some cheerios with a handful of raspberries from the bush outside my apartment. But now that the show is on my eating is kind of irregular since I never get to SIT DOWN and eat A MEAL. It's more like a random assortment of foods and food-like items. So I'll have half a grapefruit and 3 cookies. Or a piece of toast and some altoids. Or maybe a glass of wine and some wax lips. I'm all about nutrition.

So! Where was I? Ah yes, snacking less - that's what I'm going for. I decided THIS MORNING that one way to do that would be to drink SOOOOOOOO much water during the day that I was kind of half-full all the time. And so far (yes, I know it's not even 9am) this morning I wasn't feeling any hunger. But then someone in an adjacent office said:
"Blah blah cheese blah blah it blah."

Cheese. It. Cheez-It! I want Cheez-its! DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

Damn other people screwing up my eating plan!

As a friendly and admittedly entirely unsolicited suggestion, the key for you may not be snacking less, but snacking MORE. As in planned, balanced snacks...carbs AND protein. Let me know if you want to talk more about it, otherwise I'll shut up, promise. :)
