Sometimes, always, never

Idea lifted from Mona at Kirida.com

Sometimes

-I sometimes take to counting the thing I’m doing (steps on the sidewalk, pieces of celery sliced for soup) even if knowing the total will have absolutely no bearing on anything at all.

-Sometimes I check and recheck plans. I can ask the same person over and over again to confirm details of the plans. I’m also frequently ready WAY too early because I worry about being late.

-I sometimes drink a half-gallon of Silk Chocolate in one day. This is why I almost never buy it.

-I sometimes wonder what the price will be for all of the beautiful people I know and lovely experiences I’ve had. I hope that I’m only required to be grateful – because I am that.

Always

-I am always uptight about traveling to someplace new – even if it’s really easy or close. It’s like I don’t know what the rules are in that new place, so I’ll behave like a crazy person. Or I’ll get terribly lost and get raped and cannibalized by zombie-hicks. I’m not sure where this comes from. And I love to travel despite this.

-I always need more salt on potatoes and eggs.

-I always look forward to the warmer weather.

-Yes, thank you. I ALWAYS want a(nother) glass of champagne.

-I always read blogs in the same order.

Never

-I never leave any hairs in my hairbrush after using it. CSI will never catch me that way.

-I never learn that my quirks are not other people’s quirks. They have all different ones.

-I’m never sorry to see winter go.

-I never experience any feelings that I would describe as “religious”.

I am also way early for things frequently. I think it's disrespectful to be late. This is a challenge when living with someone who believes that ten minutes late is "totally punctual". I have started to lie to him about what time we need to be places... Seriously. What's funny is that he never thinks it's strange that I would have an appointment at, say, 2:50 in the afternoon.
Also, I always read blogs in the same order as well. That way, I don't loose track.
Don't be nervous about Denver. I PROMISE that I will rid the city of all Zombie-hicks before you get here. It's on my to-do list. Breath easy, my friend.
