Thing the first: I JUST bit a clump out of the inside of my lip - so excited was I to eat naan for the second time in two days. The naan was delicious. The bloody lip part sucked.
Thing the second: Have you ever held yourself morally responsible for something you fantasized or dreamed about? A few years ago I dreamed that I chopped off my cat's head (I had to, he had some terrible disease). For days I felt guilty (note: the cat is still very much alive and loves me so much he gave me a dead mouse yesterday I am a good mom). I hadn't thought about it in so long, but it's been bugging me recently. I've tried to be practical-
Do I love the cat? Yes, so much. Would I ever chop off his head? No, blagh! So, I think I'm ok. I don't go around beheading cuddlies or anything.
Yet...
Guilt. For dreaming it.
Hmm.

We'll make great pets...
These are people (in no particular order) who I would like to keep in a jar on my desk:
1. Wish-granting genie (Don't you want to know what they do with their down-time? The jar would be clear and the mystery would be solved. SOLVED!)
2. Obama (except he'd need a desk inside the jar from which he could run the country and stuff)
3. Every red-headed guy who has ever worked for my company - I'm not a fetishist, but they are so dang cute and jar-able! FRECKLES!
4. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman (this jar would not have holes in the lid...sorry)
According to three independent, non-government-subsidized labs, I am made up of the following:

Potential:
1. a nice way of saying that things aren't good enough now
2. a word used to push deadlines farther out to some undefined future point
3. this word sucks

TII
So, thanks for the tea suggestions. To clarify, I'm not completely tea-ignorant, I just want to know if there are completely awesome (specific) ones that are mouth-gasmically fantastic and which I shouldn't live another second without. Thanks for your suggestions, peeps!
And, FeatherNester, I have also heard that chai means tea. And DieFrau, I have a remote starter, which I try to use sparingly, not usually before the actual begining of winter.
I just got back from a long-weekend in PA - Thursday through today - with my fam. The parents were visiting my brother's house and it was a good opportunity to be all together. I mostly lazed around, drank lots of drinks (a family tradition) and watched movies. We also had some delicious food, as my parents are excellent chefs.
When I left PA at 5am, I was quite sleeeeeeeeeepy, and I promised myself a nap upon returning home. I actually made it on 1 tank in 5 hours, the whole 340 miles. Of course, when my gas indicator beeped about 35 miles from home, I was a bit nervous but it all came out ok. And, there was a bunch of stuff to do when I got home, so, NO NAP. The cats were very happy to see me and charmed me into a giggle-fit with their rolling around and practically battering-ramming me for petting. Don't pets just completely break your heart with cuteness? If I didn't know how much I'd hate it, I'd already be a crazy cat lady.
So, I may overdose on some Mint Garden Yogi Tea, as I have NO chocolate. Then, to bed early because I am a boring old lady who has to get to work by 7 tomorrow. Stupid early meetings - cutting into my sleep!

Tea Question
So, 'tis the season for me to freeze everywhere I go. Those of you who have ever had to pay for oil heat in a completely insulation-free home in the northeast know the pain that I feel in the winter. The apartment is constantly about 62 degrees, I wear sweaters over sweaters and socks and slippers. I leech the kitties' heat and make as much comfort food as possible (tonight - roasted root vegetables!). My nose, toes, and fingers will be freezy-cold from now until late April. Ugh.
This is also the time when I drink lots and lots of tea. I used to just buy box after box of Salada tea (100 bags for $3.99! or something ridiculous like that), but my tastes have evolved and I've branched out more. Early Grey is my favorite by far, and I have a pretty good stash of various teas. There's a TeaLuxe in Harvard Square, which I love, but I'm looking for others' opinions. Any tea you can't do without when the weather is cold? I tend to steer away from very fruity types, but I'm flexible.
Other cold weather thing: for the first time since last spring, I got up and I was covered in goosebumps until my car warmed up. So, when I got out of the warm (down-covered) bed at 6:15, until pulling out of the driveway at 6:40, I was a goose-pimply zombie. Stupid Cold Monday! I hate you, and if you were a person I would perpetrate a swift round-house kick to your face!!!
